Concolor Firs boast long, soft, blue-green needles with a silver trunk. They require well drained soils. They are most often used as a Christmas tree for their radiant foliage colour, shape, aroma and excellent needle retention. This is a slower growing tree that prefers full sun to partial shade. Concolors are somewhat tolerant to urban pollution and should be planted in a moderately sheltered area. You can expect them to live for 80+ years.
